I bought this stand to put under my PS5, which was vibrating on the furniture when a DVD was spinning. In this respect, the stand has met my expectations.

When you turn on the PS5, it lights up automatically, and this backlight is very effective, especially in the dark.
When switching off the PS5 (I put it into sleep mode, not a full shutdown), the stand doesn't turn off automatically. And since I don't need this unwanted light on when I'm not using the PS5 and don't want to have to turn the stand off every time by holding the power button for 3 seconds, its backlight is useless for me, so I'm unplugging it. A shame.
