The new batch is completely unusable, the strap lock doesn't lock tightly in the watch, there is a lot of play until you feel like the strap won't hold it and you lose the watch.
It wasn't a defect in the piece, after the first failure I tried replacing the strap and it was the same.
Then I found an older batch from a competitor that I had before and it's OK.
Bad hold
Great looseness of the locks of the yarmulke
Strap locks made of a thin strip of plastic, breaks off with a stronger pull.

I haven't tried swimming with the strap yet (I don't even take it in the shower), so I won't judge its usability in water, but otherwise it serves great for all other purposes. I would probably prefer the original silicone strap for water, though.
Fits perfectly on the wrist - adapts to any wrist
Significantly more comfortable than the original silicone strap
Under the strap, the hand does not sweat and the skin breathes
