It holds very nicely and does not peel off on its own. I have several pieces on my watch, but always had to replace the foil due to damage that started to spread dirt and peeling. The sticking is done in three parts and takes a while, so it is advisable not to risk the dusty environment of getting it done in a few seconds. By gluing in sections, where the first one is only temporary for comparison, it is possible to align the foil really thoroughly. After sticking, it does not affect the touch, it sticks over the rounded edge of the display, where it forms an edge that can be felt under the finger.
