the press does not fit much garlic, when pressed, the garlic tends to climb all over the place, large unpressed remains remain, and while it is collapsible, it tends to split into two pieces when pressed (it is not an alignment defect, it really should be split into two pieces, but the mechanism is not cleverly made). I definitely do not recommend the purchase, it looks great, I wanted something from Fiskars again, but this is a big disappointment and a waste of money 🤷♂️
