I would definitely recommend the cooker for a holiday. It heats the water for tea/coffee quickly and there is no problem that it cannot be turned off because once the food/water is heated it simply unplugs, waits for it to cool down (15-30 minutes) and is done. However, it is not suitable for regular use. The cooker doesn't have an on/off switch, so constantly plugging it in and out of the socket would be quite a hassle. Worse, the thermostat shuts off when it reaches the maximum, so it is not possible to maintain a longer boil. Frying pancakes, cooking potatoes or making gravy with meat is a test of patience.

strange thermostat, only keeps the set temperature between 2/3 and MAX
the thermostat cannot be set to constant heating, so the thermostat keeps shutting off whether you want it to or not
