it heats up early, shuts down again and seems to drop in heat. Then it cooks slower and turns back on and repeats like that. For 14 days the plate cracked. We'll have to reclaim it afterwards I want a refund

due to the fact that it is an infrared plate, i.e. fast start and finish, and is regulated by a bimetal, i.e. a slow element which is located outside the heating element, there is a higher temperature difference in the switching interval than in cast iron. I'm guessing about 30°C.

Fast, functional, satisfaction. It's OK in design too. I recommend it.
When switched off, there is no indicator light that the hob is hot. The front indicator light is directly connected to the control only and goes out when the control is turned to zero, even when the cooker is hot.
