I am satisfied with the detector, I would buy again. I used to choose according to dTest and this brand came out very well. Virtually no false alarms. An old cheap alarm from another manufacturer started screaming like a fire with a bad battery (at 2am and again the next afternoon when my baby was sleeping), so we replaced it and I didn't want to experience that again. This one beeps at a regular interval when the battery is low (if the battery runs out, it also beeps). There are two batteries in the device - one of them leaked a year after purchase, but the other one was still almost full capacity, so when the device reported the need to replace the batteries, it was too late and due to the damage from the leaked battery it was necessary to buy a new one. I ordered the same one. It's worth paying extra for good quality batteries and checking them regularly. I also appreciate the ease of installation (the bracket is designed so that no matter how many screws you have drilled in the ceiling after the original detector, this one is always fixed there and there is no need to re-drill anything). It also lists a recommended replacement date for the device, which is also nice. You know when to deal with it. Overall, this detector can be recommended.
