I've been using the capsules for about two weeks with daily washes. I don't pre-rinse my dishes; they go straight into the dishwasher after cooking or eating, so the tablets have had plenty of opportunity to show what they can do. I most often use the automatic programme and so far I haven't had to rewash anything. The capsules even handled dried-on pots and cutlery without any problems. The capsule always dissolved completely, and it's also nice that the scent after the wash isn't overpowering at all. For me, they work reliably, it's just that the price is a bit higher.

I've been using the capsules for a few weeks now. I don't see any fundamental difference compared to other brands. What works reliably is the grease removal and the nice shine on glass and cutlery – I'd highlight that as a plus. I was very pleasantly surprised by the capsules. I was worried about the lemon scent, as I can’t stand the lemon scent of Finish cleaner. I was also worried that the crockery would be over-perfumed and leave a nasty aftertaste. I prefer unscented tablets. It’s nice to find that, after a wash, the dishwasher leaves just a faint, fresh scent; the crockery doesn’t smell of anything and doesn’t have a nasty aftertaste. So I’m thrilled. I’ve no idea why, but such large packs without a lemon scent aren’t sold on Alza. The capsules clean brilliantly, remove grease from crockery and leave pots and pans sparkling. I would, however, recommend adding a separate polish. Drops remain on the stainless steel after washing (but not on the glasses). It’s fine once you’ve added the polish. They wouldn’t have to be such a garish yellow colour either. That puts me off quite a bit. What I don’t understand, though, is that it seems to me the capsule manufacturer has artificially and unnecessarily increased its size (without increasing the volume of the contents). I bought Finish half a year ago and they fitted into the tablet dispenser without any trouble at all. The tablets are now wider than the dispenser itself, and I have a Bosch dishwasher, which Finish specifically recommends and which is designed to accommodate them. I always have to crumple up the tablet, stuff it into the tray and hope that it actually comes out. Fortunately, it always came out, and only once was there a trace of slightly undissolved powder left in the dispenser. The washing-up is always spot on, though. We’ll see how things pan out.
