First - it almost cannot start in the cold. Second - in order for the pump to suck something, the supply hose must be full of water. As soon as it grabs at least a little air, it' s over, it sucks and doesn' t pump anything anymore. It rattles, vibrates and almost falls apart while running. I don' t know what it could be used for.
