If you're not in a hurry for a coffee maker, I might wait to see if Fellow makes a next generation, which will probably be more robust and improved. It is obvious that the software is not yet fully tuned - the application first says that you have to download an update to be able to set anything, but it cannot be downloaded and has to download itself at random times
Maybe just that it doesn't grind the coffee for you and put it in the machine - the workflow itself is still pretty manual - you still have to weigh and grind the coffee (or even pour hot water through the filter, as the filters don't fit exactly) - the only thing that makes it easier is that it calculates how much water based on your settings and the pour itself, which I don't know if it's proportional to the price
Too bad that the supplied kettle is not made of a material that would hold heat better, it makes no sense to make a bigger batch of coffee this way - with the batch basket you even need to use their supplied kettle, so the only solution is to then additionally pour the coffee into another one.
It doesn't warn you that there's not enough water in the tank before the profile is switched on - it doesn't realise until it's too late
