The camera is great and I can recommend it. Only the installation is really unnecessarily too demanding, who is not a great friend with PC so hard to install it yourself. The price is also great considering the quality. The camera can be really set to a certain place and it holds. The zoom is 8x, which is not stated anywhere. The range I've only tried is about 200m, but from there the characters are just like ants. Up to about 50m you can see the figure well and if it is robbing a car I think you can tell it from that. I bought it to protect my private property - I park my car on the street. The alarm should be a voice alarm. Nobody is looking at the camera all night, so it would be fine if it would sound on the phone that something is happening.
