The camera surprised me with its simplicity of setting up, even though I had no experience with cameras, so I managed everything without any problems. For the price, it seems like the best choice.
the camera is set up by connecting to it using its wifi and telling it which wifi network to connect to. To prevent the phone from disconnecting from the AP camera and connecting to a known network, it is good to forget the home network in the phone for this moment.
Although the craftsmanship is decent and when operated manually it is clear that the camera has potential (decent image, good handling), it has so many flies in terms of functionality that it is more like a prototype or development version but definitely not a final product. I've already run into a few things there that make it impossible to actually use as a real security camera. I'm sorry. Disappointing.
solid workmanship
easy activation and manual operation
short cable (but you can buy a longer one - it's a standard DC 5.5/2.1mm
it doesn't report me notifications (unlike other ezviz products I have)
detection is tragic - it reports me a lot of false alarms (falling snow, various shadows, reflections, etc. )
the functionalities that one would expect in the base are only available if one pays every month for the ezviz cloud storage - e.g. without the paid service you don't see previews of uploaded videos at all, but only a grey box symbolizing that the video was uploaded but you don't know what's on it until you play it, whereas if you pay for the cloud you can see if there's a person / car / nothing on the video, etc. )
I would expect that the 360-degree camera will have some possibility of setting the "guarding" program, i.e. that it rotates once in a while but it is not - the camera can only be statically set to one specific place
the camera has a "motion tracking" function - i.e. when it captures a person it should keep them in the frame and moving but this doesn't work at all, the person walks by and the camera doesn't move (but other times when something falls out of a tree the camera goes crazy and turns this way and that while it should correctly ignore it because I have it in "intelligent detection" mode)
