My childhood multimeter went dead (after an inexpert connection to several thousand volts). My other multimeter is gone too. Both were cheap Chinese products. I decided to buy something more solid. I have always distrusted the Czech brand Extol but this model has good reviews and therefore I took the risk. And I'm very satisfied. The multimeter has perfect workmanship, good grip in the hand, large backlit display, stand. Not to mention good functionality.

Would I recommend the product? It's not completely bad, but for the occasional DIYer who wants to measure an outlet or battery, probably yes, for those who want to work with it, probably not.
I praise the easy-to-read display
when measuring e.g. short circuit, it cannot decide what value to show. Partially solved by replacing the measuring cables from a 20 years old multimeter.
Cables supplied introduced measurement error, resolved by cable replacement.
I was going to try the automatic, next time I'll go back to the manual, it's much better for the job.
whoever came up with the automatic shutdown should be slapped in the face.
shows random mV on the lead with no voltage, two other multimeters including a voltmeter show a net zero. Either it is so sensitive to static electricity or it introduces measurement error by its own radiation.
