I needed to drill 2 holes through a wall with a core bit that was 200mm in diameter and 400mm long. It managed the first hole without any problems, but with the second hole, it started having issues after a short time. In the back part, there are two rollers holding the SDS Max shank in the adapter. These rollers started to fall out, and so the adapter wouldn't turn; only the SDS Max shank would spin freely. After the third unsuccessful attempt to fix it, I had to weld it solid to be able to finish the second hole. After welding, the job was completed without any further problems.
