I needed a card for a Linux computer. The realtek chipset on which the card is based has been in production for some time now, and realtek has decent Linux support, so I expected everything to work as it should. Result: transfer rate -- 0(ZERO! ) up to 0.5 MB/s, unstable system, hardware error messages. The next day, the card went to a fundraiser. After installing another card (from Intel based on the AX200 chip) everything worked as it should. For me -- six hundred bucks wasted.
Acceptable price vs. parameters
Maybe it works in windows.
In linux it works slowly or not at all, the system is unstable

Hello, since someone could replicate the same problem as me, I am writing here instructions on how to put this wifi receiver into operation if the PC sees it, but does not want to connect to any wifi or disconnects. The problem was that the default driver for Windows 10 (version 2023.70. xx and above) did not work properly. The device can replace the driver from Windows 7 (32 / 64bit version) with the number 2012.13.402.2014. With this driver, the wifi card runs first class. Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager -> Realtek 8812AE Network Card -> Update Driver -> Search for drivers on your computer -> Select from the list of drivers available on my computer -> From Disk> Driver Path -> Installation. I hope this helps someone.

I tried to reinstall the driver (Realtek), I tried the instructions according to youtube, but every time I forcnem to 5Ghz, wifi does not go, it does not find the router. I have a gigabit router from UPC 1000Mbps program. I haven't slept for 2 days. It's probably a complaint
