do not recommend using without wi-fi gate and app. it can only be set "remotely". If it is to be meaningful it must be fitted to all controlled valves. The additional module for boiler switching is great. The application is usable but quite fiddly. It will take longer to set up, about 2 months (before you fine tune the desired temperatures at the valves) but then, there will be a significant saving on heat while the thermal comfort is improved throughout the living space.
