As a mat under the NB excellent. 3 tilt positions and someone wrote here that the mechanism is forum. The body is plastic and the footrest is made of metal. With decent handling, use is fine, it doesn't seem to break down.
I haven't tried the fan yet.

Good construction for this price
Lightweight and well portable
The speed control potentiometer had poor contact on my unit, which led to the washer turning off when the wheel moved. Fixed by disassembling the washer (removing the top plate and removing the printed circuit board) and soldering the potentiometer. Apparently I got the wrong piece, but there is no problem with the repair if you know at least a little bit what you are doing)
It could have one extra USB connector (I plug in an audio converter + midi pedal) but that' s just a personal preference.
It slides a little on my desk (laminated chipboard) Holds quite well in normal use, but I' d welcome rubber feet.
