I was looking for a keyboard that felt similar to the retired Microsoft Sidewinder, I tried several, this one seemed the best. It writes well, the height is just right for me, and the quiet and soft operation suits me. I've been swapping out the Z and Y keys, I'm used to QWERTY, fortunately it's easy (which is true of most keyboards, you just have to not worry about it).
