It' s probably a matter of habit, but then nobody wants this cape: -) it was originally a gift and it is back: -) I will not return, they are like replacements.
No previous experience with this mouse shape. Primarily purchased for wrist/carpal tunnel pain.
Wrist pain worse than a normal mouse.
Sharp edges.
Unpleasant contact between thumb and forefinger.
Vertical movement of the mouse requires movement of the entire forearm.
Even at the highest level of sensitivity, the mouse requires a lot of movement to the edges of the monitor, while detailed aiming, for example to select a letter in a word, is difficult.
The little finger and the end of the palm edge at the wrist are placed outside the mouse and are rubbing against the table.
Turning the mouse wheel with the middle finger requires a long finger movement. With a normal grip, the wheel rests on the middle joint of the finger.
The two side buttons are placed too high. The thumb must be raised to use them.
Even when using a cable, the mouse requires a second USB input if the computer does not have Bluetooth.
The battery status light is located below the wheel and due to the shape of the mouse, the user cannot see it unless the mouse is picked up and rotated. At the same time, the unnecessary RGB light is placed so that the user can always see it.
Double-click was sometimes not registered.
The surface under the palm was pleasant to the touch at first, but after a few days it wore down to the feeling of ordinary plastic.
The charging cable is stiff and moves the mouse when I let it go.
I already had several vertical mice, but this one is simply bad in terms of ergonomics. If you have larger hands, don' t buy. it is very narrow and not comfortable at all. As for the positives, she is quiet. The backlight doesn' t matter to me. Today she came, tomorrow she will go back. Unfortunately, disappointing. you can see the difference in the attached photo - the new mouse on the right, significantly narrower.
I've tried a lot of ergo mice and this one pleasantly surprised me. It is very comfortable and fits in the hand. It is very responsive and has a very quiet click (no clicking). The price is absolutely great compared to the mice that have passed through my hands, e.g. from Microsoft, which lasted barely a year.
