This is my third Eternico M400 Vertical mouse. The previous two were "first generation" with charging via microUSB, this second generation already has USB-C. Otherwise, the mice are the same in form and function - perfect for me. The buttons are quiet, well placed and reliable. What's not the same, unfortunately, is the finish of the mouse. Instead of the original black colour, there are now two colours - grey and white. That's okay, at least there's a choice. But the original black mouse had a sort of rubberized, non-slip finish. The new generation (at least in grey - I haven't tried the white one) has a "plastic", quite slippery surface. This greatly spoils the intuitive use and impression of an otherwise very good mouse.

It has a switch on the bottom to turn it off so it doesn't stay lit up and drain the battery.
