I bought this strap as I had a silicone strap. Everything is fine in this respect. But what is wrong is that the metal axle (closing and locking) is somewhat smaller and of poor quality, so I often find that the axle falls out. I've already emptied a 12k watch from my jacket sleeve several times i.e. I can't rely on the fixing. This has never happened to me with a silicone strap. Of course, if I lose my watch, I will demand a new watch and I will want to pay for the old watch: )

I wonder if the velcro will hold up to daily removal over the long term. But I have a similar style of velcro on my bike gloves and it holds there without any problems. The five pads on this strap are enough for a firm fit, so so far total satisfaction.
