When I bought the Etu, I expected a decent level of workmanship. I expected wrong. The parts are poorly moulded, the outer plastics are machined as if by a monkey, the mechanism for closing the toaster looks shoddy at best, the mechanism for changing the toasting plates works but seems to last a total of ten changes and then falls apart, the placement of the toasting plates in the toaster is downright silly. To sum it up, this is the last time I'll buy an Xv1, I'd rather have more appliances because this one is really awful.

is larger than most similar devices on the market
has not only half toasts, but also whole ones, which is great (not just squares halved into two triangles)
the plates can be easily replaced
makes pancakes or waffles for a very long time
the plates could be closer together, thinner ingredients do not reach
the grill doesn't actually grill much due to the lower power and the fact that the grill plates are quite far apart

Quality material and assembly
The food is cooked as long as possible. I've been waiting 20 minutes for two waffles and they're still not done, just no good.
Unfortunately, the upper plate is useless to me because the dough doesn't reach it, even if I pour a full mould.
Unfortunately I creased the packaging so I don't know if I can return this product.

do not be fooled by this product
Despite all efforts (hand washing, careful handling), the non-stick coating is peeling off. Too bad I didn't put on the reviews, I took a chance and that's why I'm writing here so you don't make the same mistake by buying it
The non-adhesive layer will surely start to peel off in critical places (when used twice a month) within a year. Therefore, you won't have a chance to make toast without snagging, scraping and therefore ruining it. Then you will need a spoon to eat the mixture.
