I use it by connecting it via magsafe to the ip, but charging it via cable (then it doesn't heat up). It just slightly lacks the advantage of a wireless power bank
I have tried several wireless powerbanks and this segment is not very well tuned yet. Most suffered from the same ailments.
I definitely do not recommend buying this powerbank. It overheats unbelievably and can't even charge 50% of the phone's battery capacity because it overheats. This also destroys your phone -> creates high temperatures on the back of your phone.
perhaps it' s just that the phone is emotionally heavy with the power bank, but it follows from the principle of attaching it to the back via MagSafe, not by cable somewhere in the backpack.
