My experience has been very negative. I could understand this product coming in powder form, but tablets? For heaven’s sake, what on earth am I supposed to do with a tablet the size of two twenty-koruna coins in my mouth? What’s more, it doesn’t even dissolve in water. Waste of money. PS: I’m certainly not going to be lugging a mortar around.
I wear them as a "last resort" because they are lightweight. Great for a quick splash when you don't need much energy or can't even see the gels anymore. But more in the sense of "every gram counts", not that you can squeeze a lot of energy out of it (it weighs about 4g, you can't expect a miracle) - when running I usually eat 4 pieces, the recommended dosage is up to 12/activity - then it has some effect and as I said, there are situations when they come in handy.

The carbohydrate content of the tablet is 3.6g which is great for a tablet weight of 4g, however, the tablet cannot be considered as a sufficient source of energy. If I calculate that I should consume more than 60g of sagarides in about an hour of cycling, which is the minimum value, I definitely have to look elsewhere for a source of carbohydrates. Anyway, the taste is good and the contained minerals and vitamins are definitely a plus.
