At first glance it looks very nice, I changed my headphones, listening good. Satisfaction in this respect.
But the side slide control is terrible. Every manipulation of the player - be it volume, scrolling music has to be activated by that sneaky slider, which is also stiff. I wouldn't buy it a second time. I'd sell for half price.

Personally, I am most satisfied with this player. After a lot of trying and testing, I consider this the best alternative if you don't want to spend as much on an mp4 player as you would on a phone. Of course, for a low price, you have to put up with a few inconveniences, but in the overall price/performance ratio, I am extremely satisfied with the player. The negatives that I describe in the review I write more in a positive sense, for those who would like to know what inconveniences to put up with, but in my opinion it does not affect the overall functionality of the device.
The music sounds very good.
Bluetooth (usable for headphones etc., failed to pair with PC or car player).
Pleasant material.
The Mint 8GB version lists an external card up to 64GB, but I've used it with a 128GB card for a long time and it worked perfectly correctly.
Radio, answering machine and other additional functions.
Ability to play from the file system by folder.
Easy and intuitive to use. The only unintuitive thing is that in the music playback mode (I don't know how to describe it, just where there are playlists and dividing music by genres/albums etc. ), you must first select one of the very last options (internal/external card), otherwise the device will not load the relevant songs and playlists and everything else is empty.
Random playback mode and sequential playback mode (suitable e.g. for audiobooks).
Large volume range (I can listen quietly when falling asleep and loudly e.g. when mowing the garden; ) ).
Playlists are stored on the card and transferred with it to the new device.
You can create 3 playlists with a limit of 100 songs each - probably enough for a normal user.
Battery life and long battery life - the Mint 8GB version still had a battery life of about 14 hours after a year of very active use.
The internal memory of 16 GB is nice, personally I do not use the internal memory, I have everything on the card, but for a device in this price range the memory is unusually high.
The slide on the side is a monstrosity, but you can get used to it. Unlike the Mint 8GB version, the slide is made of a slightly harder plastic and feels more solid (in the Mint version it was made of soft rubber and after a few months it fell off and was lost). With the new device, the slide is difficult to move and requires both hands, but after a few days of use it is easy to use and can be operated with one hand. As a result, I don't mind this element so much, it's easy to get used to it, but if it starts to loosen again, I stick it on with a pencil sharpener, I don't want to lose it again: D
In file system playback mode, it does not allow you to repeat a single folder, it repeats the contents of an entire tab, or a single track.
For some reason, the system shows a maximum of 4000 songs on the card, even though there are over 6000 songs stored on the card, but this is just a "gauge" issue, it doesn't affect music playback.
When transferring the card from the older player to the new one, the first playlist got "stuck" and was unable to accept more than 32 songs. The problem was fixed by formatting the card (maybe just deleting the playlists stored on the card was enough - I thought too late), after formatting and returning the original content everything works now.
I would appreciate a higher capacity and more playlists so I can go back to older playlists and not have to delete them every time I want to create a new repertoire.
