This cooler is, in my opinion, the best in terms of price/performance ratio. I've seen loads of companies that do prebuilds (Smarty, Alza, Hal3000, etc.) and they use it too because it easily cools an Intel Core Ultra 5 225, which can go up to 4.9GHz. For an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 9800XD3, I'd rather go for an AIO. These processors are the best for gaming but they do tend to get very hot, so it's better to choose something more expensive for them.

Generally speaking, this cooler is something of a standard in this category of coolers. Anyone with a mid-range processor will have no trouble cooling it with this cooler. It is an excellent choice, particularly for Ryzen 3–7 processors, which do not draw a great deal of power (installed on a Ryzen 5 5500GT). For the time being, the only thing I would criticise is the audible vibration/rattling of the cooler when the processor is under heavy load, due to the increased fan speed. It’s probably a problem with my installation, and the fins are knocking against some unused connector or wire, or perhaps This is a faulty item. It’s possible that you or others won’t have this problem. Otherwise, it’s an excellent cooler – you really can’t go wrong with it. If you’re replacing an old cooler, I’d definitely recommend running the PC under load for at least 10 minutes first to allow the thermal paste to soften; otherwise, there’s a risk of the processor being torn from its socket during removal (and you really don’t want that).
