I was switching from a membrane keyboard, which wasn't bad at all, but the space bar was bad and I often made typos when typing, connecting words. She was quiet and unreliable to write. This one's been a blast so far, so just make it last.
Heavy = stable
I personally feel great about the perception of writing
Backlit
Full key textures illuminated, no diacritic overlays
The backlight can be customised in the app and the keyboard remembers it
Spare parts are available (for now)
The keyboard layout is PC classic, no experiments.
I also took advantage of the possibility to choose from three cable outlet positions
The application could be clearer, but that's too easy.
I'm sure some people will find the clacking sound noisy
Some people will mind the main ENTER key (perhaps it can be replaced) is only a single line.
I've been interested in mechanical keyboards for more than 10 years, I've experienced when the cheapest keyboards had only US layout and I had to buy stickers and cut and glue them myself, I've experienced disassembling the keyboard and sticking foam because it was impossible to concentrate on typing despite the metal echo. These keyboards cost over two and a half thousand, had no backlighting or only red. Being able to have a keyboard that has practically "everything" and still have a really nice sound, which I couldn't get myself even with modding on previous keyboards, at a 1300 discount is really an incredible deal. I'm really excited about it. The Rapture X-Ray Outemu costs half that and is also incredible for the money, but I'd still recommend those who can't kill a few extra hundred go for this one.
Really very nice sound without the need for custom modifications
Acts premium
Volume knob for easy one-handed volume control
Unlike a lot of cheap keyboards, it has a neutral font that doesn't play space rocket
Quiet, I wouldn't be afraid to take it to the office
Really a lot of effects options, I personally don't care, I use the classic backlight, but for "toys" it's great
Detachable cable
Czech characters
Quite frankly, I don't know who expects more for the money, so they're naive
For the money, I'm thrilled with the keyboard. It has dampening foam in it, so it is pleasantly quiet. The control wheel for volume control is a nice bonus.
The only negative point for me is the lack of an app for setting the backlight, which has to be set rather awkwardly directly on the keyboard.
The keys appear to be plain ABS and not PBT plastic. There is no indication to the contrary on the box or in the manual.
Loud keystroke compared to AKKO keyboard with red switches.
