The old, but good quality, Vorwerk kobold EB 350 turbo brush has already started to break down. So we decided to buy a new vacuum cleaner. It's also heavy and quite clumsy when I use it with the attachment as a duster. Sometimes I dropped something, etc. is not designed for this.
Here is a link to the Vorwerk EB 350: https://www.google.com/search? q=Vorwerk+kobold+EB+350&client=opera&hl=en&sxsrf=ALiCzsbx_GVx1SDEODkRL2J14xt6R-vKoA:1672771113809&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjFvJ2Ahqz8AhWJKHT3ODFMQ_AUoAnoECAEQBA&biw=1880&bih=939&dpr=1 I ended up trying 3 new vacuums:
1. Concept VP8223 REFRESH animal 700 W
2. Electrolux Pure D8.2 PD82-ANIMA
3. Rowenta RO7487EA Silence Force Allergy+
4. The Electrolux Pure D9 PD91-ANIMA was planned, but after the experience with the 23rd and 3rd we did not pick up the eni and had a refund, see below. I remind you in advance and confirm as someone has already written here that modern quieter vacuum cleaners as they have less power, so their nozzles are adapted to suck from the bottom and not as in the more powerful old vacuum cleaners and a little around the sides and even the joints between the floor and the wall so better vacuumed. This is also true of my old turbo, where I also noticed it. So vacuuming thicker carpets is more physically demanding - the base nozzle tends to stick to the carpet and is harder to move. It's such a cheat from the manufacturers of current vacuum cleaners. I found that the old turbo brush set the bar pretty high. Experience:
1. Concept. The patch, the design struck me as a doll toy. Cheaper average. Returned. 2. Electrolux. The complete control on the handle and its lightness and quietness is OK for me. However, I do agree, when you buy the large turbo brush directly from Elecrolux (it comes with it, bought by vacuum code), it becomes a turbine in smart mode on tiles/parquet/linen and roars even a little more than the Vorwerk. I wish it was possible to have a turbo brush with an independent drive like Vorwerk has and not a cheap cool air turbine. I'll have to buy the dusty stuff, too. It will be better rather to buy the allergy series and buy the duster stuff, where there is also a mini-turbobrush. For flat floors and as a duster, thanks to its small size and quietness OK. I was disappointed with the big turbo brush. It's also slightly less effective in the corners than the old Vorwerk. Otherwise, the smaller size and operability and quietness suits me when I'm doing dusty activities and need to vacuum occasionally.
3. Rowenta, winner of dTest 2021. Well, a lot in common with 2. Included is a large turbo brush. is about as effective as 2. The turbo brush is quieter and doesn't make as much noise as the purchased Electrolux. Again, on thicker carpet, it tends to bounce back when pulled backwards and has to be pulled slightly to the side. For the 2nd and 3rd, in order to get the turbo to run on the higher carpet, you have to add power to both. air brush drive malfunction. Basic nozzle OK. The control via the handle is of poorer quality than the 2nd and it cannot be disengaged from the handle the suction is actually regulated mechanically. The actual modes must be selected manually on the vacuum cleaner. Here is better 2. The basic nozzle sticks more to the higher carpet than 2, but it writes it bothers - much more difficult to vacuum with it then, it has a smaller gap in the setting on the carpet above the carpet than with 2. Ergonomics some strange, as if too long tube and short hose. Wheels tiny, must be carried + it is heavier and bigger than Electrolux. The default mini-brush at the handle may suit some people and bother others. I don't care. After my experience with the 2nd and 3rd I gave up on trying the larger Electrolux Pure D9. The turbo brush is the same as the 2 and is the vacuum cleaner overall just bigger and noisier with more power at max. Overall, I'm disappointed especially with the lower level of turbo brushes of the selected vacuum cleaners. The decision is to finally get the still old turbo brush for large areas and for more frequent use and as a large duster Electrolux Pure D8.2. I eventually returned the Rowenta. However, the overall pros and cons for mine put them both on the same level.
