If it lasts longer than the previous AEG we will be satisfied. I preferred to extend the warranty and see if it lasts or also after less than three years it will be necessary to call for service. I have only washed it a couple of times so far, but compared to the previous machine( also electrolux) it is significantly quieter. We were a bit surprised by the lid being quite wet after opening, but hopefully that won't bother anyone. We haven't tried the pair yet.
