The kettle was chosen for a long time from several candidates and finally this one won. Some of the minuses described in the reviews are irrelevant to me or, on the contrary, a positive (e. g. " silent" sound signaling). The price is a little higher, but again we are satisfied with the kettle in all respects.

Opening the top lid of the kettle is absolutely TERRIBLE. This is done by a button directly on the lid in the middle. Again: aesthetically very nice, but functionally it is not. At best, you' ll lose your temper because you have to press it sometimes 1x, but more often 2x, 4x, or 6x before it opens. In the worst case, you will burn yourself on the stainless steel lid of the kettle (although the button is plastic, but it is small).
We changed the kettle, the original Catler, a really good kettle but it went away after z years and the ELX was one of the choices and in the end a good one, everyone got to know it quickly
It works and the control is one-handed
The beep when the temperature is reached is quiet, but it's not that bad
