Gebrüder Weis delivered the washing machine on a different day to the one agreed
The most important specification for me – the depth of the washing machine – is incorrect. The actual depth is 44 cm
The drain hose, fill hose and power cable are each 2 metres long. It’s a shame that it isn’t mentioned anywhere
The user manual (the paper version supplied with the washing machine and the PDF available for download here) is inadequate. The actual version is 40 pages long in Czech and is available to download from the manufacturer’s official website

I’ve got no complaints – it’s easy to use, there’s a wide range of programmes, and – what’s great – you can adjust them according to the type of laundry and the time available.

The washing machine does its job brilliantly. The programmes are quite long, which is probably due to the small size of the drum; the laundry simply has to be tossed about for longer to get properly washed. Unlike the previous, smaller washing machine, this one is able to balance the load effectively for the spin cycle. Unfortunately, due to the narrow design of the washing machine, the narrow rubber seal on the washing machine door is more difficult to clean. It’s a shame you can’t switch on the extra rinse cycle during the wash if you realise it’s just producing too much foam. The programme duration is sometimes shorter than the time shown at the start of the wash (it sometimes jumps by 2 minutes). Initially, the time conversion applies only to the ‘cotton’ and ‘synthetics’ programmes.

I chose this washing machine because of its compact size (the depth in particular is great), its energy efficiency and the excellent reviews. In this category, with the Alza discount code, it’s a clear choice for just under 8,500 CZK. I appreciate the wide range of wash programmes, the steam cycle for removing allergens, and the delayed start option. It washes brilliantly even on the ECO cycle, although you should expect it to take a little longer. Overall, the build quality looks very good, and the motor comes with a decent ten-year warranty once registered with the manufacturer. If you write a review, you can get another sixty laundry capsules. Fast delivery, collection of the old appliance and on-site installation of the washing machine for a total of 700 CZK is also good value.
