A lot of people write here about signaling “lack of water“ Yes. That' s true, but just put the frozen inserts in the “left compartment “ or “stuck“ them under the partition. In the right part of the tank, the pump is probably sucking and the freezing inserts are floating, therefore - “they probably make it zero level“. I would recommend trying before cursing: -).
PS: When asked how much it cools down - nothing. it will make a breeze and moisten the air - which is its purpose; -) (perhaps by half a degree, but that is immeasurable in an apartment)
