I read the reviews and they were so positive that I was worried it was going to be some kind of "social experiment". After unboxing and connecting them (via cable), I played a few tracks from my library and my jaw dropped a bit. The weight of the speakers suggested to me that they wouldn't be some cheap tinny boxes, but I really didn't expect this. For someone who loves bass and is used to a "JBL or Sony" sound signature, I don't think they'll be thrilled, but even so, these tiny satellites have a pleasant bass delivery – though someone with a woofer under their desk won't be amazed, I repeat, BUT they still have nice bass! You get more than you expect for the money. I don't have a turntable, I don't have an external amp, I have them plugged into my laptop and as I've already written, I'm really pleasantly surprised and am already looking to see what else this brand has up its sleeve.

Bought a week ago. Compared to my ancient Cambridge SoundWorks, these are dreadful. I disconnected them today and I'm going back to my 30-year-old Cambridge ones.

Unfortunately, the crates arrived with a fault. They didn’t reproduce mid-range or low frequencies. The goods have been exchanged, and I have to say the sound is brilliant. I can highly recommend these to anyone looking for monitors for a small studio or a home studio.

I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants great sound without compromise - whether for the living room, study or even as a PC accessory.
clear and balanced sound, depths with surprisingly good bass and treble without noise
