Unfortunately, I hereby discourage you from buying anything at all from the ECOVACS brand. The fact that the mower doesn't work immediately after starting can be overlooked, although it is annoying. On the website of the Czech representative of ECOVACS, you will NOT find that they manufacture or sell garden mowers (strange enough), therefore not even manuals! However, I would like to describe the ECOVACS authorized service procedure so that buyers can get an idea whether they want this brand at all. ECOVACS service has no online system, so after calling and explaining the fault, they send a rather outdated questionnaire in the mail, which you have to fill out and send back (20 years ago you would have thought how advanced they are, they already have e-mail). Then nothing happened for more than a day, and on the third business day we got a message saying that we had bought an unboxed product (true, but the mower still has a 36 month warranty), and that it was thus not covered by the consumer warranty, and that we should unbox the mower (pretty tough) and take a picture of the label on the underside where the date of manufacture is (5/2025 - it is now 9/2025). We sent everything to them, but even then they didn't respond, only the next day later they wrote that they were solving our complaint, but that they would come to get the mower to fix it, no - END. So we have lost more than 4 days of correspondence and the ECOVACS service complaint is not working. Thus, we use the ALZA claim, which is our only way to get the mower repaired or get a new one. But I'm afraid that even if the mower works and after a few years we need to deal with servicing, we're screwed: -( I'm adding a photo from the bottom of the mower, how it looks: -)

According to the parameters and descriptions of the lucky ones, it could be a good machine if it worked at all.

Immediately after plugging it in, it reports a bunch of errors, like the wheels are stuck (first the right, then the left), then that the cutting blades don't turn (I haven't even started it yet, so I don't know why they should turn), that it's not charged (96%? ), that it does not stand on a level, even though it is on a completely flat terrace.

I understand that some product is immediately non-functional, it's just that a lot of people write this, so the problem is probably poor quality production

But the worst thing is the ECOVACS service, which basically doesn't work at all, so for that reason alone I wouldn't recommend this brand because you will probably have to use it one day.

Otherwise, the app is pretty user-unfriendly (at least on installation and connection, it was a real pain - the rest we couldn't even try)

I don't know why WiFi only works on the old 2.4 GHz frequency and not on 5 GHz, it's not new, but it's certainly 5 to 10 years old technology

It's also absolutely horrible that when the mower reports errors, it's so over and over again that it makes your head spin, I guess it would be enough if it reported the errors and then waited 5 minutes before it started saying it again, because the errors are running on the display at the same time. The annoying thing is that you can't even update the mower firmware, because it keeps popping up errors in the app and interrupting the installation. Well, someone didn't think much of the user.

Purchased at the end of May 2025. Out of the box installed within 30min. Initially a problem with the update, but probably a problem with the weak WIFi signal in the garden. The horseshoe zone is the one where you can't do a no go zone, it can only be done inside the zone, so this would need more tweaking. Sometimes he leaves the strips uncut, but he mows every day, so it's not a problem. It is great that you can set the cutting speed in each zone and the cutting height in each zone is different, which cannot be said about the cutting direction i.e. The same for all zones and after a week, 90deg. turns around. And then she just drove off and mowed, avoiding trees, systematically lane by lane. He can even avoid cones, although not all of them. Lawn mowed in a few hours, no work. It is definitely a good idea to keep a distance from places where the mower can get stuck (in my case it went behind a stone border and could not return. Either adjust the mapping and leave about 30 cm gap or make a no go zone. When first chopping, it's probably better to see how she's doing and possibly adjust the zones and mapping as such. You can see which way they are going in the app, and you can even watch them live on camera. Toy. The whole family acknowledged that we should have gotten it sooner. Minus?
