I've only had it a short while, but I've already tested it out.
Because I never read manuals, it took me a moment to realise that the blue bit under the joint isn't just for show, but actually locks the ball-joint thingy in place.

The clamp tightener above the sliding bar isn't for big hands, my knuckles are suffering.
The thread on the vice is quite short, you have to move it along the bar a lot.
