I’m very happy with this vacuum cleaner. Before that, I’d had two cordless stick vacuums of a different type (the detachable handheld motor unit was at the bottom of the vacuum) and I spent a long time deciding which model to buy next (the battery in the first one gave out quite early and the bottom started to fall apart slightly; The second one had poorer suction power, even though it had two speed settings and the brush had stopped working, and in the end I went for this one (let’s face it, it had good reviews and was also on a great special offer). And I’m glad, because this one has far surpassed it in every respect. It has 3 suction settings. The lowest setting is enough for normal dirt on a hard surface; I use the medium setting for carpets, and the highest setting. It’s really good, but of course you can see on the digital display just how much it’s draining the battery.: )) As you’re holding the motor in your hand, it’s heavier than the other type, but it’s still fine. Every now and then I switch it to my other hand.: ) In my opinion, it’s a very good, powerful vacuum cleaner that’s always to hand when you need it.
