The remover does not irritate the eyes, its consistency is light (without oil). If mascara is easy to remove, this makeup remover is great - it doesn't burn the eyes, it doesn't irritate. If the mascara is harder to remove, more product has to be used and the make-up removal is not very pleasant for sensitive eyes. In this case, of course, the makeup remover does not last very long and you need to buy a new one soon. I've only used it on mascaras that aren't waterproof. (I don't think this product is suitable for waterproofs).
