When cutting the cap off, the plastic broke and one of the epoxy components leaked out completely, so it couldn't be mixed according to the instructions and the epoxy didn't harden properly.

I was going to use glue to seal the crack on the water drain cock. After perfect drying it stuck perfectly and water stopped flowing through the crack. Unfortunately it was a hot water pipe, when the tap got hot the glue came loose and it's leaking again. This is probably the limit of this glue.
