It doesn't say it properly anywhere, but the water bottle allows you to insert a Delonghi water filter
It's hard to put the pawl on. You have to take the whole machine "in a tie" so to speak to tighten the pack
The machine sometimes vibrates so much that the cup falls off the base (this is the problem of most cheap espresso machines)
The top heated shelf is more of a negative, because when the machine needs a firm grip when putting on the pack, you will "burn" it.
Inserting the water tank from the top means moving the machine if you have cabinets or shelves above the line
