+If you need the bass to tear your ears, I don't recommend it. They're perfect for me. +For several years I had headphones that lit up and unfortunately they lit up even when the computer was off, which was quite frustrating. After researching, I found that most headphones do this, so I appreciate that they are non-illuminated. +The previous headphones had monstrous volume and microphone controls, and they were far from the headphones, so I had to either stretch or wear a buried cable to get the controls closer. Here the controls are close to the head, which is a plus for me

the cable is not braided, but with normal rubber insulation. But I suppose that can be replaced.
