The coffee maker is perfect, it is small so it fits practically anywhere. As for heating the cups on top it works but it has to be there for a long time to have any effect. Putting the lever on is tricky and you really have to make sure you can't turn it a little more. I also recommend buying a water filter (it is a universal filter for all De'Longhi coffee machines)
