The driver is not part of Windows, so a USB disk with the driver will appear when you plug it in for the first time. However, if you uninstall the driver for some reason, it will not reappear next time, so you cannot get the network up and running without an alternative connection. I was unable to connect to the 5 GHz hotspot from the Galaxy S21 even though all advanced options were turned off on the hotspot. Similarly, in one case the special configuration tool did not work for me. Connecting to other Wi-Fi was functional. So overall good, but you may run into incompatibilities that make it impossible to use (which is perhaps why there is no driver directly in Windows). There's nothing to do but return it.
