I bought for gigabit internet to have better speeds via wifi. The original router failed to use gigabit internet.
I measured 980 Mbps / 980 Mbps directly on the cable from the provider. Through the lan router I got to the same numbers through the gigabit switch, which is great.
I measured a maximum of around 450/500 via the AC wifi of the Thinkpad laptop, which is definitely enough for me. The old router didn' t get over 200.
Very good price / performance ratio (action 1750 CZK).
You can upload the DD-WRT firmware there (I haven' t tried it yet).
He fulfilled what I expected from him, namely better speeds for using the gigabit internet (Silesnet).
Totally lousy administration and control of the router
Only basic functions can be set (this is nice for less able users)
Compared to older D-Link routers with orange administration, this is quite a step backwards
The administration annoys me so much that if I knew, I wouldn' t buy this router. But I set everything up, and I don' t climb there anymore, so I' ll survive.

It can divide itself what connects to 2,4ghz and what to 5ghz band, solid range, can handle many devices at once.
For the money, I don't think it's anything yet.
