The sound quality is good, installation was without problems (W10/64). I couldn't tell the difference from the sound from the motherboard - I probably have bad ears or a reproduction device (or both), it was just a necessity, because the sound on the motherboard went away.
There was one problem - when using in some programs, e.g. Audiocity, I needed to use line inputs, which I managed to set up with a bit of trouble, but the only way to go back to microphone inputs was to uninstall SB and reinstall it. I used to have older versions of SB on some PCs that didn't have this problem.
Another small thing is that the original sound from the motherboard turned off the line output signal when the headphones were plugged into the front headphone jack. This board doesn't do that.
