The fridge has been running for a month straight and no major problems. I often have to defrost but in my case the fridge runs under heavy load. For a few days frost is not a problem, I defrost it about every 4 days during continuous operation at full power. The noise is not so bad, I have a fridge 40cm from my head and I can sleep in peace.
