So far I like it, it is handily heavy and seems to be of good quality (I appreciate the braided cable). I threw away the red cover and fitted retro keys from eBay (some China) and it looks very nice - see photo. I guess it would be nice to be able to turn the backlight off, but I've only set it minimally (blinking when I click) and it's pretty cool. Maybe the option is there, and I just haven't discovered it.
