Since I purchased this product to pump a full tank from a car to depreciation canisters, I unfortunately did not
The hose in the tank floats on the surface, and when it does manage to submerge it all the way, only manual pumping is possible without self-priming (I pumped about 1l/47l in about 10 minutes of trying)
Definitely usable for pumping water out of a fish tank ( the self-acceleration only starts when the target container is at least half a meter below the source (through a balloon whose check valve is too strong)
Low price
In order for the pumped liquid to flow by itself, the target vessel must be at least 50cm below the source (to start flowing at all)
