I don't know what I was expecting, they're stones for the freezer. You could probably collect similar ones by the river for free, clean them, sterilise them in boiling water and save a few quid. I assume the effect would be similar.
Cools down your drink a little bit.
It doesn't dilute your drink with melted water like ice cubes do.
They are nice
Doesn't keep things cold enough, the stones are small, so they warm up very quickly and don't transfer enough cold to the drink.
They are a bit porous and get stained by drinks – but it can be washed off.
