This gigabit switch from the Cisco 200 series of enterprise-class network switches is characterised by high performance with no unnecessary and complicated management features that would not be used anyway. The main challenge of this switch is to provide your business with a reliable solution for sharing network content and connecting computers, printers and servers. An outstanding feature of the model is power support over Ethernet PoE within 12 RJ-45 ports that can deliver up to 100W. This feature is ideal for connecting compatible IP phones or IP cameras that no longer require their own power. Ethernet ports are complemented by SFP expansion slots for installing gigabit optical connectivity modules. There is also IPv6 support, line aggregation, VLAN, QoS for priority setting and IEEE 802.1X port-level authentication. The switch is made in a format that allows installation in a rack cabinet. Management is through an intuitive GUI web interface.
