It looks like a cheap Chinese knock-off, and the price might well reflect that. Plastics are soft and expand when heated. I’d only recommend this for DIY enthusiasts; a heat gun can sometimes be useful. Heat-seal tape is a must-have – buy a larger pack, as you’ll go through loads of it. Make sure you have the adaptors from previous filtration systems that you’ve already thrown away. Otherwise, you can probably get the pump itself for less, but now that you’ve bought it, it comes in handy elsewhere too.
